16 new family homes are being constructed using a closed panel system, to provide both a high degree of air tightness and thermal insulation. The houses are built in two terrace blocks either side of an existing formal greenspace, which is a focal point for the whole neighbourhood.

The design has responded to both scale and public nature of the "green" by elevating the living rooms (which are positioned to face forward) simultaneously providing privacy and increased height. The brick colonnade detail which encases the front elevation establishes a strong unifying element to each block, with increased scale commensurate with the open space over which it presides.
