ARK Design & Architecture Ltd consolidates its senior team with the appointment of experienced and well respected architect Alexander Dusterloh.
Alexander joins from Shedkm Architects in Liverpool where he was Project Architect for the conversion of Edge Hill Station, Liverpool into an arts centre and community venue. At Shedkm, he also managed a concept and scheme design for the Former Littlewoods building; and design for a mixed use development, Great George St, Liverpool.
Prior to joining Shedkm, Alexander was at Hodder Associates in Manchester where he was involved in the detail design and construction of 50 Princess Street, Manchester. Other roles include Architectural Assistant at Foster and Partners.
A visiting critic at the University of Liverpool, he joins with a number of prestigious accolades including the Haydn Smith Award for Documentary Submission in 2008, awarded by RIBA North West. And in 2003/4 the Frank Horton Prize for ‘intriguing connections in Architecture’, and the Charles Reilly Medal and Prize for thesis design was awarded to Alexander by the University of Liverpool. Alexander holds a BA Architectural Design, (RIBA part I) with 1st class Honours, a Bachelor of Architecture, (RIBA part II) with Distinction, RIBA Advanced Diploma, (RIBA part III) - the RIBA North West Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice in Architecture with Distinction.
